Thank you for visiting the new Pickles & Chip’s Sandwich Shop web site! Since first opening in October 1996, Pickles & Chip’s has provided quality food and excellent service to our local and extended Brandywine Hundred customers, including neighbors, schools, churches, sports teams and businesses.
Pickles & Chip’s features a variety of your favorite subs and steak sandwiches, store-roasted turkey sandwiches, tossed and other homemade salads, and a wide selection of beverages, snacks and treats. And don’t forget to check out the Breakfast and Sandwich Extra Specials on our menu—these creative combinations are too good to miss!
We’re open early for breakfast starting at 7am (8am on Saturday). Stop in for eggs or omelets with bacon, sausage or scrapple on the side. Or enjoy a delicious breakfast sandwich or French toast. And we have the BEST home fries in town! Hot coffee is ready for you to enjoy with your breakfast too.
For your entertainment needs, we also offer sub trays, party platters, salads, meat balls, wraps, etc. — please call ahead to order. For business catering, we can provide delicious trays with sandwiches, wraps or subs, bag lunches, salads and breakfast sandwiches-–just let us know what you need.

Owner Chip Lamborn is a native of North Wilmington and graduated from Brandywine High School in 1968. Prior to opening Pickles & Chip’s Sandwich Shop, Chip was the owner and operator of Corner Deli on Main Street in Newark, DE. He provided lunches, dinners and late-night snacks to the University of Delaware community from 1980 through 1995.
